Partner Organizations

Currently, five partner organizations are housed under the UDYC Collective. These organizations include Street Youth Ministries, ROOTS Young Adult Shelter, Teen Feed, Ryther, and Interagency.

Street Youth Ministries

Our mission is to provide unhoused youth and young adults in Seattle’s University District with life-skills, resources, and relationships that bring hope and healing to their lives and the community. We are committed to connecting through meaningful relationships, partnering with our young people, and affirming their inherent worth.

ROOTS Young Adult Shelter

ROOTS Young Adult Shelter is Washington state’s largest overnight shelter specifically for young adults ages 18–25. We provide a safe, welcoming, and affirming space for up to 45 young people each night in the University District of Seattle. Alongside our low-barrier shelter, we also provide a warm meal and access to case management, housing navigation, wellness supports, employment help, and community resources.

Teen Feed

We work with the community to offer support to meet basic needs, build strong relationships, and ally with houseless youth as they meet their future off the streets. Our core values encompass human rights, equity and empathy, mutual respect, youth voices, inclusive care, and relationship building.

Ryther

Helping children, youth, young adults, and their families find their path to healing and hope is at the core of our work. As an agency, we have enhanced the quality and effectiveness of our work by implementing a trauma care model – Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC). We are continuing to expand our programs and locations where we provide services with therapists in more schools and social service agencies.

Interagency

We are network of small, alternative high schools spread out across Seattle designed to support students who need different supports than comprehensive schools offer. We partner with community-based organizations to provide unique learning environments with targeted interventions. We are committed to working with every student, regardless of his or her past, and we believe that every student can grow and succeed if given the right support and encouragement.
