Brotherhood initiative internships

The Brotherhood Initiative is a cohort-based program dedicated to empowering undergraduate males of color and providing opportunities for academic growth, transformative learning, and community-engaged leadership. The Brotherhood Initiative is a research project studying the impact of institutional practices on men of color in higher education. Beyond the UW campus, the Brotherhood Initiative shares its findings with other colleges and universities to support systemic change. The goal of the research is to promote success and belonging in college settings.

This year, through a pilot program, the Doorway Project welcomes a member of the Brotherhood Initiative to the team as an undergraduate intern.
